Today concludes the worst new years day ever!
Hazzah to life.
Driving down to Ridgecrest tomorrow.
Man....I dang hope that I pass my license test.
So far, '08 is complete shit.

So...tomorrow's my driving test.
(´-ω-`;)
After a stressful few hours of trying to sync my Zune on Windows Vista, I was FINALLY able to get it to work again on my downstairs computer. Oh laptop, you disappoint me...
I'm so nervous about tomorrow.
Wish me luck, ne?
(Lets just hope the curb doesn't get the best of me! )

Ear Food: Why - Ayaka

Today started off really bad.
I mean, failing my license test and all....
When I came home though, everything was pretty chill. I went to good ol' Starbucks with Cheryl to use their "our drinks are on us" things that Gracelyn got for complaining. We saw a former classmate sitting there with some cigs and crocheting a scarf that matched his beanie. Despite the fact that he smokes, it was pretty dang cute watching him sit there just crocheting and whatnot.
After starbucks we headed on over to Ikea. We walked through the amazing showrooms and eventually went downstairs to where all them goodies are. We wanted to find hooks for our necklaces, since we have too much, so we tried looking for some...but failed. Ugh...lame. looks like I have to stick with my thumbtacks for now...
After that we went down to the container store so Cheryl Ann can buy Jeff a "Cup-A-Cake" container and something random. I was planning to buy boxes to declutterize my cluttered room....but their boxes were wwaayyy expensive. So after Cheryl bought the container and a tiny tiny box, we went back to Ikea and we bought boxes.
After Ikea, we took the long way to the Walmart in Grossmont to look, once again, for hooks or whatever we can hang our necklaces on. We ended buying our cosmetic needs instead of buying what we came there for in the first place. When we bought our things, we went "Grossmonting" something that we haven't done in so lonnnggg. We browsed through Charlotte Russe and eventually went to Target where I bought a new set of pens. (: On our way back to the parking lot, Cheryl and I stopped by the At&T store to look at the LG shine. The sales guy was weird.
"Get your SHHINNEE on!!!"
Right.
It was a cool phone. Can't wait for the shine to be mine~
Anyways, we went back to her car and we drove back to Cheryl's house. Jeff wasn't even home so Cheryl ended up keeping the stuff that she bought that was meant for him. Oh that child....
We EVENTUALLY decided where and what we wanted to eat, which was a "dozen tacos rolled tacos" from Saritas. Cheryl got gas on the way up to Saritas and we picked up them tacos and left to Rancho Elementary to eat our food like hobos. We arrived there and sat there for a while eating, slowly getting paranoid. Cheryl moved the car closer to where we were, then a car rolled into the parking lot. Freaked out, we LEFT THE SALSA on the ground and just took the rolled tacos and headed off to my house. Ahahaha, what an experience. We just sat on my driveway eating the tacos and just laid there looking up at the stars. We had a nice little driveway talk and froze our butts off. It got really late so I got all my stuffs out of Cheryl's car and we went inside to my room. Cheryl helped me assemble the boxes, which was confusing. But now I can't wait until I have my pizza box folding Tuesday!! Ahahaha! Yea...today ended up being a good day. Eff the fact that I failed my license test, everyone knows that THAT lady is gonna die a sad death. :D!!!
Now I'm off to go use those boxes for my room!

I've been searching around for some good haircut pictures for my haircut appointment tomorrow...
As of now...I'm going for this:

BUT!!!!
I kinda wanna go for a visual kei approach. Risky stuff. I know.
Hmmm....so....
I MAY go for Hiko-san's (Danger Gang) cut.
Choices, Choices...
Oh well.
Of too bed! *scuttles off*

So...I'm still hooked on to this whole haircut decision.
As much as I liked the cut that I chose in the entry below:

But, I'm totally sold to the whole visual kei look.
I know the visual kei styles are a bit too extreme for America. So I went onto Tenshi Rakuen, a J-rock gallery, and clicked my way through dozens and dozens of pictures. I wanted to find a style that's different and will look good just styled and just straightened. (Just in case if I had one of those days where I don't have time for stylin') After the 500th picture, I was officially convinced that Visual kei guys are WAY prettier than girls. It's the harsh truth. *puts bag over head*
After a good hour or two of searching, I think I'm definitely going for Hika-san's hairstyle (Minus the hair dye. If I did, America will hit a culture shock for sure ^^a):

Hmmm...now to think about it. I believe that this is considered an "emo" cut in American terms. Ugh. Them peeps may take it as me attempting to be "emo". Whatever man. Gonna go V.K. style. For reaallll!!!!!!!

*side note* my hair is layered, i just straightened it. (:
I am quite satisfied with it.
The salon that I went to was owned by Filipinos, so it was all good in the neighborhood. The facial was beyond awesome. I just have to go back one per month and pay 25 dollars. Good stuff. A hour of just lying there and her putting stuff on my face. Celebrity treatment!! Ahahaha! Yes.
I showed the lady a picture of Hiko-san's haircut. I was hesitant to show her at first because everytime i go to a salon and drag in a picture of a style that I want to have, they always seem to NOT know how to do it or...just plan cut it wrong. But thank GOD that she knew how to do it since she's been to Japan and so she knew how to style it. Thank goodness.
But yes, while waiting for my sister and my mom to do their facial and haircut I just sat on the bench and watched this one Filipino movie TWO times. Yes, it was THAT long. It was actually pretty good. Enjoyed it. Too bad that I forgot to look at the name of the movie. Go me. Ahahaha. Yea.
When I came home I straightened my hair and it was set to go! It's pretty short, more shorter than my usual cuts. But hey, it's different.
SO! First day back. I can already tell that this is gonna be a lonnnnggg first few weeks. The unit that we're starting off with is "Public Speaking". AHHHH!!! NOOOO!!! I hate public speaking. Ugh. I know that I eventually have to get over it but...ugh. I'll suck it up and just go with it. Besides, I don't really know most of them kiddos in the class so it should be okay.
Well yea!
I hope this semester will be good! (:

As I was desperately searching for my emergency stash of mini Tabasco sauce bottles that I took from Barona years ago....
I opened up a box and I found my "8th Grade Time Capsule"
I just kinda stared at it for a while.
It totally hit me.
In FIVE months I'll be graduating High School.
About four years ago I was a 8th grader sitting in Miss Elli's trashy room writing journal entries.
Before I know it, it'll be down to five weeks left.
After I graduate I'm off to take my General Ed in college.
Two years here...then I'm gone.
Off to Japan.
Weird....TWO years...
So close.

Anywho,
go forth and fill up your hard drive space with their pictures.
They're good.
[Here]

I haven't done these since forever...
So I'm throwin' one out to ya!
20 deep questions that could really tell you something.
1. Is it difficult for you to look into some one's eyes when you are telling them how you feel?
If it's a guy...then...yes. It's hard. But say it's a friend and I'm telling them how I really feel about them as in, "You've been a idiot lately" type of talk, not so.
2. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
Don't know. Honestly don't. I will know when that time comes and i'm in that situation.
4. You are at the doctor's office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. (A) Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? (B) What do you do with your remaining days? (C) Would you be afraid?
a) No.
b) Go out and meet Miyavi and GazettE just to tell them how much of an impact they are and I hope that they'll continue making music and go to one of their concerts. Uhm...perform somewhere AT LEAST ONCE. I would travel to places. And I'll just probably end up settling in Japan.
c) I know I would definitely act tough and seem to be chill with it. But in the end, i'll be scared.
5. You can have one of the following two things: trust/love.
Why love if you can't trust? That'll be impossible.
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time you get fired. What do you do?
Depends on my job.....but I'll just jump down to the river, get that dog and take it with me.
7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Okinawa
8. Think of the last person who you really knew that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give one year of your life. Do you?
No. They're in a much better place.
9. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
No
10. Does love = sex?
Never. Sex is only good for making babies and passing some STDs.
11. Your best friend dies, what would you do?
I'd be much more distant with people for a while. But I don't know how I will react until it happens.
12. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt?
A while back with hannah.
13. What would be harder for you, to tell someone you love them or that you don't love them back?
Telling them I Love you
14. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?
Life
15. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them?
Sometime today to my mom
16. If you had to go back in time and change one thing, if you HAD to, even if you had "no regrets" what would it be?
I'd not drive in that stupid turning lane in my driving test.
17. Imagine. It is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. Who do you call?
Gib.
18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying?
If it's a child, sure. Depends if they have std in the mouth or some disease.
19. Are you old-fashioned?
No
20. Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a heart break or have never loved before?
Hmmm....I'd say. True love with a guarantee of a heart break. Because if it was "true love" then it was worth it, and who knows. hearts don't stay broken forever.

Today was quite uneventful. I didn't do much other than watch the Chargers win and clean my room. Consider this day wasted.
Anyways, I just finished my homework and now I have to unfortunately cram for my Economics test tomorrow on gold. It's actually interesting stuff. I don't really like Mr.Hernandez's class, but learning about Economic stuff is rather interesting. I like it. But the downside is learning about how unstable the United States money is. Makes me want to go out and buy some gold as back-up just in case.
I just put up the poster of Alice Nine and Toshinki that I got from my Arena magazine that I bought at Mitsuwa yesterday. Wheeee~ Looks beautiful on my wall. I've noticed that magazines now are showing A LOT of visual kei artists and bands. Makes me happy. V.K. Breakthrough!!! Heck yes!!!!
おめでとう TO ALL VISUAL KEI BANDS!!!
You guys make me proud.
In the Arena issue, which I must say...it's a really good issue, they had a lot of Miyavi, some GazettE, Alice Nine, and much more!
And I would like to congratulate...

I feel good. I actually do. It's quite refreshing. Today I FINALLY gave my speech introducing a classmate, which was Jazmine, to the class. I was SOOO nervous and all since for one, I have to talk in front of the class and two, I'm not confident in myself due to my speech impediment (I sometimes have trouble saying my "R"s). So I got up there and talked, a bit too fast, but I made it through and I went back to my seat. Mrs.Macecca just said, "Emily, that was AWESOME. That's all I wrote. Awesome. You had good eye contact and everything." I was totally wowed by what she said. To be honest, I thought that was a sucky speech on my part. But it was good!? Heck yes!!! Achievement dedicated to Reita~ Wheeeeee~
Speaking of Reita....

Gotta go type up my ANOTHER speech for tomorrow! *slaps self* Kudos for procrastination.

I've been poked/tagged by MANA-SAN!!! Go visit her ---- [here]
Rules of the meme:
1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
~~
Eight Random Facts/Habits of Kabuki!!!!
1. Even though I live in America, I only listen to Japanese music. It all started when I realized that ORANGE RANGE, my all-time favorite Okinawan band, was from Okinawa and I saw them before when I went to Okinawa but didn't realize they were famous...I cracked. So, I started to obsess over them then after 2-3 years I was exposed to the whole Visual Kei movement. That was when I started to stray away from the pop scene to visual kei. But before this I used to listen to lots of English music.
2. I am in LOVE with the drink "Na-chan" The cutesy Japanese drink with a cutesy smiley face on the wrapper thing and on top of the cap. I used to buy it ALL THE TIME in Okinawa from the vending machines because that was all I could ever afford.
3. I love playing the Final Fantasy series on the playstation and whatnot. But I never actually finish the game. I would get to disc three or close to the beginning, but I just stop.
4. I think V from V for Vendetta is a hottie hot hottie.
5. I have a fear of public speaking. But I used to be a colorguard performer and performed in multiple places in front of at least hundred to thousands of people in fieldshows, competition, to parades. I get more nervous talking in front of my class for 1-2 minutes and not as nervous as performing a 10 minute show in front of a audience.
6. I can't sleep without my color changing nightlight.
7. Sometimes when I look through the anime magazines at the public library and I see a page that features one of my favorite Japanese bands or singers, I secretly rip out of the page and hang it on my wall.
8. As much as I would like to go to college and major in the medical field and minor in business...I would LOVE to be in a visual kei band and play the bass. I honestly miss the feeling of going out and performing to a huge group of people, traveling to other places for shows, and performing with other people. I loved giving the people who paid to watch you the best show possible to the point where when you walk past them, they recognize you, compliment you, and go to your next performance just to see your performance again. It's amazing. Even though I'm a girl and the Visual Kei genre is guy dominated, (except for Danger Gang) It'd be awesome.
I tag:
MiBellaDeMuerte, Ninjin, Cheryl Ann, Kagechoo, Bellpepot, LadyAtemu, Tessa, and halo!!!

But I shall not watch it until my friend, Emily. Comes over.
:p
Can't wait to watch it!!!

The Pv:
The PV was interesting. Nothing too "OMG THAT'S SO AWESOME". It's just a normal PV. But I have to admit, Miyavi does look good in it. He looks more "cleaner". Also, I like this PV much better than his "It's a wonderful world" PV. For real.

So I visit ORANGE RANGE's official site because I felt kinda bad for not even visiting it for a while now. I get greeted by lots of updates about their new tours. One for their fanclub, which I thought was pretty sweet of them, and their other one called "Devilpop Showcase Tour 008" Nice name.
So I went on their good section to see what type of merch they'll be selling this time...
and i was complete APPALLED to see this:

What the heck!?
I mean really guys. C'MON!!!Was using the word "Fuck" even necessary!? I know, you guys must be thinking "Why are you so worked up about this? Doesn't Gazette use the "fuck" and "shit" and all that more?" Well...ORANGE RANGE used to be my good little group that wasn't as extreme. When Katchan left everything just...kinda went downhill from there. So...are they TRYING to change into a hardcore group? Because...it ain't working. Oh ORANGE RANGE, where did you go? ):

I know, I know.
THIS IS YOUR 5TH ENTRY FOR TODAY!
I just have a lot to say. :p That's how my mind works.
So I was talking to Jeff and Courtney on Myspace about stuff and I was telling Jeff about my current frustrations and whatnot. One of his posts he called me "Emiko". I was like "Woah...you still remember?" I just kinda dazed off about that having little random flashbacks of 8th grade and so forth. That was FOUR years ago. High school really goes that fast. Then I Gackt's song "Hoshi no Suna" just popped up in my head. So I went on my music collection folder and played it. I haven't heard this song since FOREVER. Literally. When I listen to this song it makes me feel like it was summer break.
I cannot help still remembering that vanished person whom once you were,
And my unwavering, unchangeable feelings toward you:
So deeply, so very deeply, even now...
Yes... I love you still.
-Hoshi no Suna, Gackt

Yea...the only "extreme" stuff that I basically did today was:
- Watch White noise 2
- Organize my music onto Itunes since the Zune program won't work on my laptop ):< (Which I have yet to finish tomorrow)
- Eat Pizza
Exciting stuff. I'm actually feeling light headed. I think it's a sign for me to sleep before I kill myself. (:
Night loves.

I slept late again last night and woke up NOT TIRED this morning. Woah man. This is a first.
Talk about what a great way to start off the day.
So now, lets see what the rest of the day will be like shall we?

Cheryl and I just went around Grossmont and Parkway to hunt for some jobs.
Most jobs require us to be 18. Cheryl and I turn 18 in August. Totally blows.
Ugh!!!
We got denied in Mrs.Fields, Wetzels Pretzels and Yogurberry because they require us to be 18+.
I wanted to work at YOGURBERRY SOOO BADD! It's a cutesy place. But no, "We're not hiring at the moment."

First of all,
The Chargers lost. WE LOST. The first quarter was good, I must admit. But in the second + quarters, they started to slack. It was depressing...IF WE WON WE COULD OF MADE IT TO THE SUPERBOWL. *sigh*
After that me and Cheryl sat around not knowing what to do for two hours. We, then, decided to make clay stuff. I made a happy empanada and poop. Poop that was pretty dang classy. (:
But later, Cheryl and I joined my sister to watch this show on the History Channel about...I forgot his name. But yea......It was pretty...dang scary...if the world did end in four years......that would suck. Ugh.....talk about too much info.

You can now listen to the WHOLE Guren song here! ---> [Ear Food]
Thank you to GazeRockz for posting it on Youtube!!! :D
It's..an "okay" song. I'm a tid bit disappointed but i'll probably grow into it. (:

Oh well...I'm off.

Consider today as another wasted day that's filled with nothingness.
I'll just go off and listen to a song, finish copying down my notes, and read some stuff in my Economic book.
Great stuff right there.
Hah. Who am I kidding?

So! I had to scratch THAT idea and make a new one.
The next layout will feature The GazettE!
I hope it'll turn out good. (: (And I hope I won't laze off and post it BEFORE Valentines week.)

Good ol' GazettE released their "Guren" PV today.
It's okay...I guess I need to listen to it a couple of times to get hooked. But yea!
Go watch! [Here]

I found my camera. THANK YOU LORD!!
Oh man, I feel so much better now. :D
Me and Cheryl were experiencing a moment of crisis. It was intense.
But it's all good in the neighborhood. Time to take a breather.
And I just watched GazettE's "Guren" PV for the 5 billionth time.
I take the "It was okay" comment back. I love it.
I just realized that they were all wearing the SAME necklace. It's the necklace that Ruki designed for GemCerey. (The chandelier one) And Uruha was wearing the earrings that Ruki designed as well...and RUKI was wearing his ring that he designed for GemCerey too...so I suppose they all are wearing their GemCerey gear. It's pretty cutesy. (:

I now an OFFICIAL J-rock blog crew.
My j-rocker is Aoi of GazettE.
But!!! She updated and I could of TOTALLY been Miyavi or Kai. ):
Oh well. It's okay. Aoi is hoottttttt. (:
Sweethearts is tomorrow, lets see how that goes...

So, about 30 minutes ago my I hear my mom yelling for me so I jerked awake and went out of my room to find that mom was reallly pissed that I "hadn't cleaned" the house. While she was yelling at me I just ignored her and went downstairs and cleaned to my best of my abilities without my glasses. So while I was doing that mom continued to yell at me from upstairs, which I find it pretty dang worthless because I'm obviouslyT not listening. She then said, "THIS AFTERNOON, YOU'RE GOING TO CLEAN YOUR ROOM." I was just thinking "Well, when I take Sweethearts group pictures, you're not gonna look at them or have any because you're being a bitch this morning. (: "
After I cleaned up and went back up to my room I realized that my room doesn't need cleaning. So, whatever to her. I, then, heard my dad talking to my sister and I discovered why my mom was REALLY mad. She was just mad because when she came home the garage was open. Mayumi was like "But I was asleep!" And dad was like "I KNOW that, but you left your keys lying around in the room downstairs so Emily might of sat on it or something and made the garage open." Bah! Mom's so anal sometimes, it bugs. Ugh. What a GREAT way to start the day eh? I mean with sweethearts and all. Whatever.

So....I'm waiting for hannah to pick me up to go to Lexi's House then to T.G.I's then Sweethearts.
Yea.....just sitting here listening to Cascada's remake of "What Hurts the Most". It's basically the only country song that I like.
Her remix is pretty bomb. Listen to it if yall get the chance to!
I think I need to put a bit more make-up. Maybe eyeshadow?
I'll go search.
バイバイ~

It was a interesting experience. I danced a lot, ate too much at T.G.I's, but overall. I had fun. Despite the fact that my day started out wrong, everything turned out to be fine. Why was I worrying so much in the first place?
We took pictures at Lexi's house and headed on down to T.G.I's. Lexi, Sierra, Nikki, Laura, and I stayed and ate there while Hannah, Ty, and Emily Rose went to get some sushi. We all order appetizers and shared them. When the other three came back we all paid and left for Paradise Point.
It was pretty fun dancing. I took my first formal group picture with friends and whatnot. It was fun. (: The dancing was fun as well...
"What's wrong"
"Nothing"
Ugh. I want him to stop.
Anyways, my ears are still ringing. My eyes hurt from the super bright flashing lights that made us almost get seizures. My thighs hurt from all that hardcore dancing. "Asian signs!!" Ahaahaha. Oh Nikki.
In the end, it feels really good to spill out all our problems to someone.
Thanks you guys.

What hurts the most
was being so close.
And having so much to say.
And watchin' you walk away.
Never knowing,
What could have been.
And not seein' that lovin' you,
was what I was trying to do.

I just made a content page where you can have easy access to all my Music Videos and whatnot that I've made. :D

[Dear Emily....]Lots of updates, so little time.
Today was an okay day, despite the rainy weather and me wearing flip flops and attempting to walk through puddles like Jesus, hoping not to get wet. (And failing miserably) I actually got my first participation point in Hernandez's today. He HAD to call out on me in front of the class. It was a tid bit embarrassing, but I lived. It actually wasn't that bad. I don't know what I'm so scared of. Well...1 down, 14 more to go!
In English we're doing our little, "Brown Bag" speeches. Eh, quiet boring. A lot of people chickened out on doing it. Quiet lame. But I'm for sure going tomorrow and I'm going to just wing it and get it over with. I'm tired of carrying my now dilapidated brown bag around.
Econ Test tomorrow. Physiology Test tomorrow...and did I study?
What do you think? :p

Talk about being a boring day. But hey, at least it was sunny.
I have a feeling that Hernandez doesn't like me much...
Mood: discontent

Two hours wasted. Yep.
I spend TWO good hours trying to fix my myspace layout. But Myspace was being gay and the CSS codes and what-not are being stupid. Ugh.
Sleep would be good.
At least it's a minimum day tomorrow....
-> Next project:
Transferring all my entries from here, to my Ameba Studios Blog. :p
This shall be interesting...
But feat not, I am NOT leaving this tabulas for good. I just need some...stuff to fill the emptyness of it all.

So as I sit here in the dark yearbook room reading other people's blogs, I've discovered new information:
ORANGE RANGE's new single is called "Kimi Station". It's gonna be a love ballad for the drama, Lost Time Life. It's going to be their first single of 2008...
I hope it will be good. Their songs lately honestly havn't been that great. But I'm in great favor to ORANGE RANGE's love ballads. I think, in my opinion, that they sing better ballads. At least lately they have been.
So lets see what they have to throw out.

Yea, it went from a messy room to a landfill. Go me and my life.
So today was another boring day. It just filled with me hangin' around.
Senior year is quite boring. Blah.
The bright side to today was, that I got a B on my physiology quiz! I totally didn't study and I guessed on 90% of it! Ahahaha. That's the way life should be.
